Welcome to Peek A Boo Tuesday!!
I have always wanted to be an artist!!
We have a couple in the family who are pretty good!
This last summer I even bought a book to help teach
you to draw, some paper and pencils.
But alas, I never did anything with them.
So I have made up my mind that this Spring when the
weather gets nicer I am going to fix up myself an
artist's loft to work in! Well, actually just a small space

that I can call all my own!!
I have seen some very talented people on blogs!

I envision all kinds of ways that I could fix up my space!
Next my tools of the trade!
I love these silver tins to hold supplies!
I would love to learn how to stipple. I really am drawn
to this kind of drawing!
to this kind of drawing!
One of my daughters is very talented!
She drew these by looking at the work of other artist's!
The first one here she did for her grandfather because it
reminded her of him.

So...where is this space going to be...in your "horsey" area? I had the same urge several years ago and decided on accrylics...never did anything but spread paint around but it really was fun and relaxing!!! I did one drawing of M Bubbles but it looked like me...not her!!!
ReplyDeleteIt would be really fun to be able to call yourself an artist. I think I would need a quiet place, quiet music. I think one needs to be diligent if wanting to learn.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you create. I have an intense admiration for artists of all kinds, especially painters. When I was younger, I used to sketch horses ALL THE TIME. Haha, made I should dig those up and scan them in. I also, would love to have a photography studio in my home.
ReplyDeleteThat is neat you want to be an artist! It's important to try to learn new things. You just have to dig in and start somewhere. I did some acrylic painting a few years ago, a kind of "class" at a woman's home. It was fun and I did a few nice paintings, but I lost interest. I still have the supplies and once in a while want to tackle another canvas. I'm pretty artistic, but, can be critical and a bit of a perfectionist. I recently found some old sketchbooks from when I was a teenager and I could draw horses so well! Wish I would have kept that up!
ReplyDeleteSares is really talented, the best in our bunch I think!! :)
Good for you! Can't wait to see what you create:)
