I had the distinct honor of going down and riding with "THE DESERT ROSE," and "THE KING" this weekend! I was a little apprehensive on the way down! The last time that I saw "THE KING" was in the desert a year ago. I remembered him as being prancy and probably way to much horse for me! I was actually quite pleasantly surprised ! "THE KING" took very good care of me and was wonderful to ride! The "CADILLAC " of horses! I even loped on him a short distance. Smooth as a sip of "COWGIRL COURAGE" going down!
Here are a couple of pictures of "THE KING" and "THE DESERT ROSE" down in the desert. I, of course, was having camera issues again! "THE DESERT ROSE" is going to be emailing me some of hers that she took today! I forgot how nice it is to be out on the trail !! So here's to many more Happy Trails to me and all my blogging buddies out there!

Yes...you and the KIng had a really good ride, he was just so good. Too bad LL didn't follow suit!!! It's so much fun snorting and prancing and spooking...I wish I could do it everytime...but alas Jesse would never do that. I will just have ride LL when I need a "SPOOK FIX"!
ReplyDeleteThose are great pictures....(Where's your helmet?) Isn't King a great ride these days? I so wanted to bring him home with me!
